Description
A Shedu is a strange creature, appearing as a winged bull with the head of a human. They are quite intelligent, speaking their own language as well as the languages of humans, elves, and dwarves; however, they can use telepathy as an innate ability and usually choose to communicate by means of direct psychic contact.
Shedu can Detect Invisibility, Detect Chaos (Law) (Chaos only), and Detect Magic at will (by concentration) as often as desired. Each can create the effect of Cure (Cause) Light Wounds up to three times per day, Protection from Chaos (Law), 10 ft. radius (Chaos only) once per day, and Dispel Magic once per day. Three or more shedu working together can cast a Wall of Fire or Ice (Fire only) once per day. Shedu are naturally benevolent creatures, and seek to aid those in need first and foremost; they seek out and battle evildoers only when absolutely necessary.
