Description

Animated from the lower half of a skeleton, Skeletal Legs are often spawned from either mistake or desperation. These necromantic beings, while not as desirable, do have their strengths. Due to their reduced weight, they are quicker and more agile than your usual skeleton and gain surprise on 1-3 on 1d6.

As with all undead, they can be Turned by a Cleric as a skeleton, with a +1 bonus to the roll, and are immune to Sleep, charm or hold magic. As they are mindless, no form of Detect Thoughts (ESP) is of any use against them. Skeletal legs take only half-damage from edged weapons, and only a single point from arrows, bolts, or sling stones (plus any magical bonus). However, they can still be damaged by bludgeoning attacks as normal
